Holderness Meeting 11/2/11:
Over 50 people attended an opposition meeting at Holderness Central School to discuss the latest in the fight against Northern Pass, issues of existing ROWs that need to be addressed and to answer the audience questions.

Martha Richards, resident of Holderness hosted the meeting and talked about how the people of NH will have no vote on the project.

Will Abbott, VP for Policy & Land Policy for the Society for Protection of NH Forests discussed the process of the EIS, Site Evaluation Committee, proposed legislation and eminent domain.

Bob Tuveson of Holderness discussed local warrant articles for upcoming town meetings.

Mike Marino
Mike Marino of Holderness breaks news that the NH State Grange has come out against Northern Pass, a complaint about the scary mailings sent to Franklin residents is being made to the NH Attorney General, and quotes from Hydro-Quebec's own documents in 1999 about burying power lines.

Peter Martin
Peter Martin of Plymouth spoke about "rights-based ordinances" and the Democracy School as a way to fight powerful interests and help people regain control of self governance.

Gail Beaulieu of Campton talked about how she can't sell her property because of the Northern Pass.
